Entry-Level Dental Assisting with Expanded Duties provides a hands-on training approach that prepares students for a position as a chair-side dental assistant in a dental office of a practicing dentist. The hands educational approach and real life dental office setting enhances the learning experience because the students have access to a real live office environment and equipment that are used by practicing dentists. Dolphin Dental Career Institute is a Florida Board of Dentistry Approved entry-level dental assisting with expanded duties program; graduates of our program will be able to obtain state radiology certification after three months of continuous on job training.
Entry-Level Dental Assisting with Expanded Duties includes lectures on fundamentals of general dentistry and the basic skills, knowledge and technical proficiency necessary to assist the dentist in the various operative procedures performed in a dental office. Upon completion of the thirteen week program, the 50 clock–hour externship and all financial obligations to the school discharged/satisfied, only then can the grades, transcripts and Certificate of Completion with the Expanded Duties be awarded.
